FV Thoughtful Comments 0.2.6 script details FV Thoughtful Comments does not remove the comments moderation panel from the backend, but merely provides an alternative on the site's frontend as well.
As you can imagine FV Thoughtful Comments can be really useful since it eliminates two or three steps from the comments moderation process.
This way comments are much faster moderated, especially on community engaging sites where they tend to show up seconds or minutes after a blog post has been published.
Other plugin options include the ability to hide the "Reply" link near each user comment, and the option to hide long links via an URL shortener.
Options included with the frontend moderation panel:
- Approve comment
- Delete comment
- Delete comment + replies
- Delete comment + ban user's IP
- Delete comment + replies + ban user's IP
- Moderate all future user's comments
- Don't moderate all future user's comments
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
